Need me to reach that?

I can cause I gots a FORKLIFTING license. Class 1 and 3. F-yeah!!!! It was totally awesome, everything I imagined it to be and more. I wish I had a picture, especially of my face when he decided to choose me as the first victim to try to pass the test. After hearing about the accidents in class I was for sure sure that this was going to be the end....instead, it's a new beginning. I offered to pick up Mike from the fruit lab for work tomorrow via forklift now that I totally can. He declined. His loss.

Dear City Cyclists

I have great news! I have discovered a safe and green way to commute around the Mission of San Francisco: Metro Rack! Tha'st right a Metro Rack. As I pushed this rack down Capp St. then down 17th passing Mission, Valencia, Albion to the new address of this vehicle, I thought for sure people were noticing me even blocks away. A few heads turned, some heads smiling, I knew I was starting a revolution with this revalation.

Nooooooooooooooooo Noooooooooooooooooo Nooooooooooooooooo.

I spent two nights painting this beautiful book case ‘caution’ orange (well me and my conned pilot plant man) and when I went to take it home I couldn’t fit this junk in my trunk. Noooooooooooooooo. Hours (precisely two) of work and sneaking the book case around the pilot plant as to not get caught and now I’m on my way to Kentucky and I had to hide it in the underground tunnel of Del Monte, famed for its once use as a marijuana farm, until I get back. The best part about it is when my friend offered to drop it off at my house (hella far for him) I said that no, I could just pick it up from his house…..luckily, I don’t think he caught that I was an idiot and that that plan would solve nothing (uhhhhh I still can't fit it in the darn car). I love the double thats’. Well, I plan to either have my idol, Laurie, drop it off or take him up on his offer. I actually think he wants to but I feel slightly weird about my college kid lifestyle and his most definitely not college kid lifestyle. Oh well…(in true southern style).

Oh bummer. I tried to just do the two fingered Mac scroll (a stellar feature of my roommate’s computer) on this hp but it was no dice.

I has a web cam.

Time Fries..

When you’re totally busy. I’m trying to maximize the amount of life in my time and I’m wondering how I did as much as I did before my big move and had time to watch Scrubs. Now that I’m internet-less, TV-less and have a full time job (heck it’s less time than school), I somehow have managed to overfill that “spare” time. I have found a new love for my bike and a better way to train. Ride your bike to work. It’s the best flipping way to stay fit and you can do it on the way to work (I may try to patent this! Caitlin Craig…Cait Watchers). I didn’t realize how much I love my time consuming hobby until I was asking a woman at work if she was getting rid of any lights that can clamp on to your bed when she was speaking of the yard sale she had. I further explained that I have been reading at night with my helmet light. They then said they could just imagine me there reading away with my helmet on. Oh, no no no, I’m not wearing my helmet, it’s just next to me while I read and then while I sleep. Oh! That’s much worse apparently. I came to the realization of my new obsession.

I sleep with my helmet.

It’s one of the best relationships I’ve had and the time really flies when we’re together. I’m in the airport now and I miss him, when I’m at work I can’t wait to put that strap on and when we’re together I never want it to end. I love him.

This wasn’t much of a coherent post but I will leave you with this mandatory Wet Hot American Summer quote:
When we first started hanging out together, this morning, we were just friends; but things change, and I've fallen in love with you. I just know that if you gave me a chance, I could make you feel so good. So I am coming, not as your buddy, and not as a co-counselor, but for the first time as a man - a man who loves a woman, and who wants to hold her and provide for her and, yes, have sex with her; but no, seriously, Katie, I love the way you laugh and I love the way your hair smells and I love it that sometimes for no reason you're late for shul, and I don't care that you're bowlegged and I don't care that you're bilingual - all I know is that I would have said no to every single person on your list because I've always wanted you.

What the crap?

So there I was, trying to make it over to Nate's office to ask about secretly painting my book case at Del Monte. I said to myself, do I really have to walk all the way around this wall or is there a doorway to cut off the walk. ALAS! I remembered seeing Nate walk into a doorway and I don't recall his return. I'll go that way. I must first note that Del Monte has taken the energy initiative to put in lights which only turn on when the sensor is triggered. I walked into what was a dark room and was quickly illuminated....with urinals. I have walked into the mens' room.

So, this brought me back to that time I was at Battleship cove exploring the historical boats. Every room had a story and a piece of history to boot. I explored the entire place top to bottom. 'Mens' Room' I see! Well, I haven't explored this one yet, wonder what kind of crazy contraptions they had in there. I stepped inside and took a good look around. It didn't look very unique compared to the rest of the boat...heck there is still toilet paper in the stalls. Modern I guess. It wasn't until I saw the soap dispensers that I thought, perhaps this mens room is not an exhibit. Perhaps I should turn around quickly and leave. So now I have been in the mens room at Del Monte, battle ship cove and the Madonna Inn.

It's base season and I need to borrow your bike for a week (East Bernsdtant)

Vanderkitten Caitlin is traveling to KY for a wicked long week. Specifically 5-7 days bikeless WITHOUT YOUR HELP. Please, help me feel the pain of lactic acid in my muscles, sweat in my eyes and dirt in my wounds. I've heard long distant relationships don't work and I'm not ready to find out. I ride a 54 or 18 and don't even care if it's biopace. In return I will tell you some seriously good jokes, possibly buy you a beer and have an autograph session with you and your 5 richest, most single and shaved legged friends (mustaches preferred).

xoxo
